8th March, 2016 The Daily Graphic says if Ghana were to be a human being, it should be prepared to take a heavy break from its sweat but indiscipline stands tall in the number of issues that confront the nation. The paper says the nation cannot reach its desired destination if the culture of impunity, political consideration, indiscipline and lack of respect for national values are not checked. The Graphic says some years ago, children were strictly disciplined by teachers for being late and that imbibed in them, the sense of purpose and patriotism for the nation, but today people who commit blunders go unpunished which encourage others to do same. The paper therefore advices Ghanaians to engage in acts that would propel the country forward but not draw it backwards. The Ghanaian Times salutes all women and wishes them fruitful dialogue on the occasion of International Women's day today. The paper says women play an important role as mothers, breadwinners and leaders in many capacities in national development. The paper notes that the day will also be used to assess 30 years of the Interstate succession Law, PNDC Law 111 which seeks to correct anomalies in inheritance rights, especially with women and children. The paper congratulates women on their contribution to national development. GBC
