Hearts humble Medeama SC Accra Hearts of Oak recorded their second straight victory in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) by beating Medeama SC 2-0 in the second match of the competition at Tarkwa TNA Park on Sunday. Hearts playing under the strict instructions of Japanese-American coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi adopted a defensive approach to game and occasionally took the home team on, but failed to make use of the few opportunities created. Medeama on the other hand, took advantage of the situation and created some descent chances but were also denied goal by the strongly built defensive set up of Hearts. Hearts benefited from their counter-attacks in the second half and started dominating in the 70th minute, with Cosmos Dauda scoring for the phobians in the 76th minute. Hearts maintained their lead till the 90th minute and seemed to be running away with a lone goal victory till Eric Kumi suddenly added the second goal to seal victory for the away team.
