Strategic plan on management of Volta Basin launched 

A strategic plan that will see to the management of the Volta River Basin has been launched in Accra.  

The plan is aimed at assisting the Volta Basin Authority to focus on the development priorities of the Volta Basin while optimising the use of available resources.  

The Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Dr. Kwaku Agyemang-Mensah, launching the document said the establishment of a legal frame work, such as the Water Charter, must be supported by member states to serve as a tool for better decision making and integration.
