Court orders Wisa's arrest

An Accra Circuit Court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of hiplife artiste Eugene Ashie, popularly known as Wisa. 

The court issued the warrant following Wisa's failure to appear before it. 

Wisa has been charged with gross indecent exposure after he allegedly showed his manhood on stage during a performance at the Accra International Conference Center last December. 

Shortly after the warrant was issued at about 9:30am, Wisa and his lawyer appeared before the court and pleaded with the judge, Abena Adjin Doku to rescind her earlier decision. 

This was however refused by the judge. 

The case has been adjourned to the 12th of this month.
