National Chairman of GPRTU says the Union has not authorized a strike by transport operators next week

The National Chairman of the GPRTU, Kwame Nkrumah, says there is no need for any driver union to go on strike or demonstration over the high charges by Insurance Companies.  

Mr. Nkrumah told Radio Ghana's George Ankrah that the GPRTU, PROTOA and other Unions have not taken any such decision because it is not in the interest of anyone.  

He asked every operator to exercise patience stressing that on Monday all drivers are working.
