Schools in Akuapem Area closed over late chief's funeral

The Ghana Education Service has agreed to a request by the Akuapem Traditional Council for the closure of schools in the area, for the burial of the Paramount Chief, Oseadeeyo Addo Dankwa.

In view of this, the GES has directed all schools in the Akuapem Traditional Area to be closed down. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Public Relations Officer of the GES, Rev. Jonathan Bettey said the move is to ensure the safety of the children.
