Pneumococcal Meningitis outbreak in  Brong-Ahafo Region is showing no sign of abating


The Pneumococcal Meningitis outbreak in the Brong-Ahafo Region is showing no sign of abating.

Reports from the Regional Health Directorate indicate that 80 cases were recorded on Tuesday and this increased to 90 as at yesterday.

The Deputy Brong-Ahafo Regional Director of Health in charge of Public Health, Dr. Osei Kuffour Afreh, revealed this in an interview with Radio Ghana's John Sam-Arthur in Sunyani.
