Supreme Court strikes out 2 suits filed by Justice Dery 

The Supreme Court has struck out two more suits filed by one of the twelve High Court judges implicated in the bribery expose by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Justice Paul Uuter Dery.  

This follows the withdrawal of the suits by counsel for the plaintiff, Sika Abla Addo.  

One of the suits was an order of the Supreme Court to prohibit an Appeals Court Judge, Justice Gertrude Torkonoo from further hearing a suit filed by the applicant.  

The other one is praying the court to quash a decision made by Justice Torkonoo.

The court will however, begin hearing another suit challenging the constitutionality of the impeachment proceedings initiated against the implicated judges by the Chief Justice today.
