Workers Union optimistic on outcome of demo The General Secretary of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union, Solomon Kotei has expressed optimism towards the outcome of Organised Labour's dialogue today with government. He believes government will reconsider its stance. Mr. Kotei however, urged both Organised Labour and government to drop their entrenched positions so they can have a fruitful dialogue. Speaking to George Asekere on GBC's Current Affairs Program, "Behind the News", Mr Kotei also announced that the strike is not being observed today so workers are to be at post as they will be duely briefed after the meeting.
