Prisons Service lauds President for proposed remand prison

The Ghana Prisons Service has expressed delight at the announcement by President Mahama that a remand prison is to be established within the Nsawam Medium Security Prison to ease the huge congestion at the facility. 

The development, according to the Chief Public Relations Officer of the Prisons Service, Vitalis Aryeh, will not only lead to the proper classification of prisoners but will significantly reduce the incidence of skin diseases and other infections associated with congestion.
