Asante Kotoko crowned Champions of Ghalca Top 6 Tournament


Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been crowned Champions of the Ghalca Top 6 tournament after defeating Aduana Stars by a lone goal in the final match  at the Essipong stadium in Sekondi last Sunday. 

The Porcupine Warriors dominated the first half of the game but it was the Dormaa-based club that had the better chance of getting the lead when they were awarded a penalty in the early minutes but failed to convert it. 

Kotoko came in strongly in the second half and it was Halipha Sedogo who made the difference after scoring from the spot kick in the 49th minute to hand Kotoko their first trophy of the season.
