President Mahama challenges Ministers To Work Harder To Compliment Landmark Achievements President John Dramani Mahama, has challenged his Ministers to brave up to work even harder to compliment the landmark achievements by government. According to him the trait of huge infrastructural developments across the country positions the NDC for an automatic win in the 2016 elections. The President threw the challenge when he addressed Ministers, Presidential Advisers and Staffers at a retreat in Ho in the Volta region. The retreat is being attended by the Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur and other leading members of the NDC. Retreats are necessary to allow for moments of retrospection, introspection and fashion out strategies going forward. In his opening remarks before the retreat went into a closed session, President Mahama, pointed out that his government undoubtedly has a track record of unprecedented development projects which have been evenly distributed across the country. That notwithstanding, he charges his ministers, particularly MMDA's to assess their Strengths and Weaknesses and improve upon them President Mahama, made reference to criticisms by the opposition that he was misusing money. He likened it to Ghana's first President Kwame Nkrumah, who was accused of wasting resources by some people within the United Party,(UP) tradition Leading members of the NDC Professor Kwamina Ahwoi, Faustina Nelson and General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, took turns to share ideas with the government appointees.
