Sudan dye in food linked to cancer - GSA

The Public Affairs Director of the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), Dr. Kofi Amponsah Bediako has warned those in the food industry and market women to avoid using Sudan dye in the preparation of food because it causes cancer. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr. Amponsah Bediako said, the Authority will continue to mount surveillance on importers and also deal with anybody involved in the act.
