FDA cautions public against ‘wholesome’ products

Chief Executive of the Food and Drugs Authority, Hudu Mogtari, has cautioned the public to be on the lookout for FDA registration numbers when buying processed food. 

He said products without FDA numbers are an indication that they are not wholesome. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Mogtari said the FDA has noticed that some palm oil producing companies are using a cancerous product known as sudan dye and is closing those companies down.
