President Mahama visits injured presidential press corps President John Mahama late Thursday night was at the 37 Military Hospital to check on the presidential press corps which was involved in a fatal accident on its way from the Volta region. A journalist with the Ghanaian Times Samuel Nuamah died on the spot when the hired bus skidded off the road near the Shai Hills in the Greater Accra region. Mahama, who was devastated, commiserated with the family of Nuamah – who left behind a wife and a child. He took turns to visit “everyone on admission”, according to a senior press corps member Richard Mensah of Accra-based Citi FM. “Everyone is responding positively to treatment,” Mensah said. The press corps was returning to Accra from the Volta region where President Mahama had attended the annual convention of the EP Church. starrfm
