One Journalist Reported Dead In Accident Involving Presidential Press Corps on Afienya- Shai Hills Road


The Presidency says its Presidential Press Corps was involved in an accident while returning from an assignment at Ho on Thursday August 21 2015.

A statement issued in Accra last Thursday night says their bus skidded off the road around Shai Hills while returning from an assignment at Ho. 

The statement which was issued by Edward K. Omane Boamah (Dr.) Minister for Communications Bureau Office of the President Flagstaff House Kanda, Accra said one member of the Corps from the Ghanaian Times newspaper has been confirmed dead.  

The injured according to the statement were airlifted by helicopter to the 37 Military hospital and are receiving treatment.
