Both the Daily Graphic and the Daily Heritage add their voice to calls on doctors to return to work.      

The Daily Graphic acknowledges the work and sacrifice of Cuban doctors but stresses that Ghanaian health professionals cannot be sidelined since they are able to connect with the masses easily when they have health needs. The Paper therefore urges government to encourage the GMA's return to the negotiating table and appeals to the Association to soften its stand to ensure that an amicable settlement is reached within the shortest possible time. 

For its part the Daily Heritage urges government to go the path of the law to get things done if it says the doctors’ strike is illegal. The paper says people are dying because government has failed to end the strike whether legal or illegal. The Heritage therefore urges government to find a lasting solution to the impasse and stop the deaths.

The Ghanaians Times calls on stakeholders to ensure that the relaunch of the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA) Sanitation and Water Project is handled with due diligence so that monies spent on sanitation issues are channelled into other developmental projects. The Paper says sanitation is a major problem to the nation and the biggest challenge to the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies and the project if sustained will increase access to improved sanitation and water supply in the country.
