Tema Mantse appeals to striking doctors

The Paramount Chief of the Tema Traditional Area, Nii Adjei Kraku, has added his voice to the call on striking doctors to resume work in order to prevent fatalities, while negotiations continue. 

Nii Adjei Kraku indicated that even though the doctors are fighting for a good cause, they need to consider the number of lives that will be lost due to the strike. 

The Tema Mantse made the appeal when the Chiefs and people of Tema celebrated this year’s Homowo. 

Nii Adjei Kraku urged the doctors to reconsider their decision, since saving human lives is the foundation of their profession.
