NDC Sets November 7 For Presidential And Parliamentary Primaries

The National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has set November 7 to hold both Presidential and Parliamentary primaries across the country.

Presidential candidates are to pay fifty thousand cedis as filing fee, while parliamentary candidates are required to pay a filing fee of ten thousand Ghana cedis.  

However, persons with disability who wish to contest as well as female candidates will pay five thousand Ghana cedis for Parliamentary and 25 thousand Ghana Cedis for Presidential.  

At a media briefing in Accra, the General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia said the picking and submission of forms will begin on August 27, to September 10.
