Genetic technologist says no elements in GM foods triggers allergic reactions

Experts in genetic technology say no new element that triggers allergic reactions, have been found in Genetically Modified foods. 

A lecturer at the Biotechnology Research Unit of the College of Basic and Applied Sciences of the University of Ghana, Dr. Gloria Essilfie, said anyone allergic to a  particular conventional food will have the same reaction to that food if genetically modified.
