GBC Boss reiterates importance of public service broadcasting 

The Director General of GBC, Major Albert Don-Chebe (Rtd) has again stressed the importance of a public service broadcaster in the scheme of affairs of every nation. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana on the occasion of GBC's 80th anniversary today, Major Don-Chebe said in almost every country where national assets have been privatised, their national broadcasters have been spared. 

This he said, is a clear testimony of the role of such stations in the development of the countries.

Major Don-Chebe also assured workers of the corporation that the future holds a lot of promise for them.
