Accra Psychiatric Hospital nurses to go on sit down strike on Monday

The turmoil at the Health Sector is set to deepen as more than 100 nurses at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital have served notice of their intention to go on a sit down strike from next Monday,

A staff nurse at the Hospital, Emmanuel Febiri told Radio Ghana they have decided to take that action because the Health Ministry has refused to address their salary arrears concerns.

Mr Febiri said the sit down strike is just a part of their protest and if by the end of next week, nothing happens, they will lay down their tools completely.
