FDA cautions public against patronising aphrodisiacs

The Head of the Drug Enforcement Department of the Food and Drug Authority, Thomas Amedro, has cautioned the public against patronising aphrodisiacs and other sex enhanced medication without prescription from a medical expert.

He said the use of such substances has the tendency of weakening one's sexual strength and even sometimes results in severe health complications.

The comments of Mr Amedro follow a ban on the sale and advertisements of some aphrodisiacs on the market by the FDA for failure to meet the required standards.
