Security patrol intensifies in Bimbilla to maintain peace The Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Lumina Muniru, says all is calm in Bimbilla and its environs after the fatal shooting that have so far claimed twelve lives in the area. In an interview with Radio Ghana, Alhaji Muniru said there have been intensification of security patrols to maintain the peace. He said so far, eight people have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been sent to Tamale for further screening. The Minister has appealed to the people of Bimbilla for restraint especially in the month of Ramadan which enjoins Muslims to be each other’s keeper. GBC
