Seek nation's interest in implementing donor funded projects - Stephen Adei

A Former Rector of GIMPA, Professor Stephen Adei has asked public institutions to be conscious of the need to champion the national cause at all times when implementing any donor funded project with conditionalities.

To him, the benchmarks and expectations of these donors do not necessarily reflect the nation's development agenda and aspirations.

Professor Adei described conditionalities as detrimental not only to national policies, but the integrity of ownership. 

Professor Adei said this at the launch of the National Evaluation Year 2015, in Accra.
