CYK threaten to close down Kpone Land-Fill site

The Concerned Youth of Kpone, CYK, have threatened to close down the Kpone Land-Fill site by Monday the 29th of June if the Kpone-Katamanso District Assembly and its allies, do not come out to render accounts to residents on benefits being accrued from the site. 

The youth also want to know what money accrued from the site is being used for. 

Speaking at a public forum at Kpone, organised by the CYK, the Chairman of the group, Nii Noi Agyeman, said the youth do not understand why the Tema Metropolitan Assembly should take a greater share of revenue generated from the Land fill site since the site is situated on Kpone lands.
