PPP nominated Joseph Toatoba as candidate for by-election

The Progressive People’s Party, PPP yesterday confirmed Joseph Toatoba as its Parliamentary Candidate for the Talensi Constituency bye-election.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Toatoba stressed that economic empowerment and job creation will be his priority due to the poverty level in the constituency and the Upper East Region in general.

He urged the people in the constituency to change their voting pattern and focus on the PPP for a better change.

He explained that the NPP and the NDC have not alleviated the suffering of the people in the area.

This is the second time PPP is putting up a candidate after its first participation in the 2012 general elections.
