Director General of GBC to deliver lecture today as part of Corporation's 80th anniversary

The Director General of GBC, Major Albert Don Chebe will on Wednesday take his turn at the series of lectures as part of the Corporations 80th anniversary.

Among those who delivered earlier lectures are Majority Leader Alban Bagbin and the Minority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu. Major Don Chebe will be looking at "The State of Public Service Broadcasting. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.”

In a pre-lecture interview, Major Don Chebe said the future looks bright for GBC with the migration to digital broadcasting. 

He said GBC is likely to have ten channels to include specialised channels to address the growing crave for foreign movies and cultures.

Major Albert Don Chebe said GBC needs the support of all Ghanaians to produce indigenous local content that will fly high the flag of Ghana.
