Alternative place should have been made available before carrying out demolishing exercise - Major Derick Oduro

The Deputy ranking member on Interior and Defence, Major Derick Oduro says government did not use a human face in the demolition excercise carried out at Old Fadama popularly known as Sodom and Gomorrah.

To Major Oduro, an alternative place should have been made available before carrying out the exercise. He said the people living there are also Ghanaians who needed to be treated with respect. He said it is only fortunate that parliament was not in session when the people went on the rampage.
