NAGRAT demands immediate dissolution of WAEC Board 

The Head of West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and its Board have been asked to step down to allow for unhindered investigations into the circumstances surrounding the leakage of examination papers of the on-going Basic Education Certificate Examination, B E C E. 

The National Association of Graduate Teachers, NAGRAT, has also called for the immediate dissolution of the WAEC Board and urged government to promote the creation of alternative examination bodies as pertains in the advanced world to break the undue monopoly enjoyed by WAEC. 

The call was made at a news conference by the Association in Accra.
