Ghanaians urged to ensure proper sanitation

A former Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Chamber of Mines and Ghana's Ambassador for Neglected Tropical Diseases, NTDs, Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee, has urged Ghanaians to take good sanitation practices more seriously. 

She said this will help the country prevent Neglected Tropical diseases which cost the nation millions of dollars in terms of health care and loss of worker productivity. Dr. Aryee was speaking at a media seminar to create awareness about the prevalence of NTDs in Accra.
