7 more bodies in June 3 twin disaster found following desilting of major drains in Accra

Seven more bodies have been recovered following the desilting of some major drains in Accra after the June 3 flood and fire disaster in Accra.

This brings the death toll officially to 159.

The Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur announced this when he summoned the representatives of Ghana Development partners in Accra to the Flagstaff House to share with them the latest on the disaster and areas of possible assistance to the government.
