GDP up by 4.1 percent for first quarter of 2015 - Ghana Statistical Service

Figures released by the Ghana Statistical Service indicate that provisional Real Gross Domestic Product, GDP for the first quarter of 2015, grew by four-point-one percent.  This compares to the three point eight percent seen in the first quarter of 2014.

The Government Statistician, Dr. Philomina Nyarko addressing the media, noted that the agricultural sector recorded the highest growth rate with the services and industry sectors taking the second and third positions.
