Winneba Trauma and Medical Hospital to be affiliated to Cape Coast Regional hospital

The Winneba Trauma and Medical Hospital is to be affiliated to the Cape Coast Regional hospital to ensure maximum effectiveness.

The Minister of Health, Alex Segbefia told parliament that although staffing at the Hospital has been a challenge for some time now, the ministry has plans to ensure enough specialists are posted to the medical centre.

He said this in an answer to a question on resourcing of the hospital with requisite personnel which stood in the name of the MP for Effutu, Alex Afenyo-Markin.
