GPHA signs $1.5bn agreement to expand Tema Port
 

The Ghana Ports and Habours Authority, and Meridian Ports Services have signed a one point five billion dollar agreement for the expansion of the Tema Port. The project will take three years. 

The Minister for Transport, Dzifa Attivor who witnessed the signing in Accra said the project will enhance the efficiency of the Port  and make it more competitive. It will also provide employment for more than three thousand Ghanaians.
