By-election in Talensi Constituency scheduled for July 7



The Electoral Commission will hold by-election in the Talensi Constituency on the seventh of next month.  This follows  the resignation of  the MP, Robert  Nachinab Doameng.  

A statement signed by the Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations at the EC, Amadu Sulley said the Commission will take nominations for the said by-election on Tuesday, 23rd and Wednesday June  24 2015, at the District  Office of the Commission at Tongo from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.  

Nomination forms may be obtained from the district office of the Commission or at the Regional Office in Bolgatanga.
 
Candidates for the election are required to  provide two recent photographs showing the full face and both ears with red background when submitting their  nomination forms. 

The filing fee for the election is One Thousand Ghana Cedis.
