MP expresses concern about lack of notice ahead of demolition exercise in constituency

A Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development and MP for Odododiodoo constituency, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, says he fully supports the ongoing demolition exercise in his constituency contrary to allegations in sections of the media that he is against it. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Mr Vanderpuye was however not happy that the AMA has so far not served notices to those affected. 

On whether his worry over the actions of the AMA is not politically motivated, Mr Vanderpuye said demolitions do not affect members of only one political party.
