Building collapses, kills SHS student 

A 22-year-old resident of Essuekyir in 
the Cape Coast Metropolis, Faustina Arthur, has been found dead after the building in which she was sleeping collapsed on her as a result of heavy rains. 

Faustina, a student of the Nyankumasi Ahenkro Senior High School in the Assin South District, was found dead by a combined rescue team made up of officers from the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service. 

The Regional Commander of the Ghana National Fire Service, Assistant Chief Fire Officer, Semekor Kwaku Fiadzo, who confirmed the incident said the body has since been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Morgue.
