Additional 130 Staff Of National Service Scheme Interdicted The Management of the National Service Scheme, on the advice of its Board, has with immediate effect, interdicted an additional one hundred and thirty (130) staff. The interdiction follows their involvement in financial malfeasance that bedeviled the operations of Personnel Allowances Accounts in the 2013 – 2014 service year. A statement signed by the Acting Executive Director of the Scheme, Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, said each of the affected staff will go through disciplinary processes pertaining to all public servants. According to the statement, the current batch of interdicted staff, are mostly District Directors of the Scheme from various regions across the country, and that brings the total number of the Scheme’s interdicted staff to one hundred and sixty-five (165).
