Judicial Service Staff at Work Following the calling off of the strike by the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana, JUSSAG over the issue of allowances, Radio Ghana visited the courts to find out if workers have returned to post. A visit to the courts in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua shows that the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSSAG) have called off their strike due to the government’s response to their demands comprising accumulated arrears in clothing, overtime and other allowances. According to the Regional Secretary of JUSSAG, Samuel Oppong Addo, government has made available the money for the payment of their allowances. He said, members have been assured that their individual bank accounts will be credited by next week. Mr.Oppong Addo said information about the call off has been communicated to all the 35 courts in the Region. At the high court at Galloway Street in Koforidua, some personnel were seen at post. GBC
