NCCE extends its condolences to NPP and family of Adams Mahama

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has extended its condolences to the NPP and the family of the party's Upper East Regional Chairman, Adams Mahama, on his sudden demise. 

In a statement, the NCCE acknowledges the work of security agencies towards apprehending the perpetrators of the dastardly crime.  

The Commission notes with concern the increasingly intolerant and antagonistic political landscape which goes contrary to the nation's values.

The statement notes that political parties exist to serve the people of Ghana and to ensure socio-economic development in peace, tranquility and stability. 

The statement urges political party leaders to redirect their followers, on a better path, to ensure that the national interest is paramount at all times, and above personal or partisan interests.
