Effective CRVS System is the primary basis for identification of individuals-Nii Lantey Vanderpuije

A Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Nii Lantey Vanderpuije, says an efficient and functional Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System is the primary basis for identification of individuals and a source of data for national planning. 

This he said will help government to monitor its developmental policies across gender, age, income levels, social structure and mobility. 

Mr. Vanderpuije stated this in Accra at a forum to disseminate key findings of assessment of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) system in Ghana.
