EC postpones IPAC meeting following death of Upper East N.P.P Regional Chairman The Electoral Commission (EC) has postponed the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting scheduled for today. The EC postponed the meeting following the murder of the Upper East Regional chairman of the NPP. Adams Mahama, the Regional Chairman died yesterday at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital after an acid attack on him on Wednesday night. A statement signed by the Deputy EC chairman in charge of operations, Amadu Sulley said a new date will be announced later. He said the Commission “deeply regrets any inconvenience the postponement might cause”. The IPAC brings together representatives of the political parties on a monthly basis together with the EC to discuss and build consensus on electoral issues. CITIFMONLINE
