Rev. Dr. Wengam appeals to Ghanaians to contribute to prisons fund project

The Chairman of the Ghana Prisons Service Council, Rev. Dr. Steve  Wengam has appealed to Ghanaians to contribute generously to a prisons fund project dubbed Efiase due to be launched to commit resources into prison reforms to make the prisoner better. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana on the repercussions of releasing criminals in the name of presidential pardon or reforms, Rev. Dr. Wengam said the reforms are necessary in order to resettle the changed criminals. 

He also asked society to accept prisoners who are released to ensure that they do not renege in life.
