Fire guts Ashfoam depot in Achimota

There is a fire outbreak at an Ashfoam shop around the Achimota new station.  

The fire started about an hour ago. 

Our reporter, Godwin Aloriwe who is on the ground tells us that, it was not until after thirty minutes that fire service personnel arrived on the scene.

This incurred the wrath of the people, who hooted at them for responding late to their calls.  

He says the fear of the people stems from the fact that the shop on fire is just a few metres away from a petrol filling station.
