Undertake Local Research Into Causes Of Cancer – Prof Koram

The Director of the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, Prof. Kwadwo A. Koram says undertaking a co-ordinated local research into the causes of cancer is the most potent and viable alternative of treating the disease.

This is because most research conducted on the disease is not local based. 

Mr Koran made this known at the Global Health Workshop on the screening, prevention, diagnosis and management of Breast, Cervical and Prostate Cancer in Accra.
