Kamal Deen denies report on NPP Emergency Steering Committee meeting

The National Co-ordinator of Nasara Club of the NPP, Abdulai Kamal Deen, has denied reports that they deliberately sidelined the Chairman and General Secretary from an Emergency Steering Committee meeting yesterday. 

The meeting was called by the first National Vice Chairman, Fredie Blay in the absence of the Chairman and General Secretary. 

According to Mr. Kamal Deen, notices were served on all members but the Chairman could not attend because he was out of town.  

The General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong however said he had no knowledge of the meeting.  

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr. Kamal Deen downplayed notions that these developments will split the party.
