5,000 workers might lose their jobs in Tema if energy crises are not resolved -Eleazer Nyaunu 



About five thousand workers are estimated to be laid off in Tema if the energy crises are not normalized by September. 

This is because many employers from industries in Tema have already started writing redundancy letters to trade Unions. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, prior to May Day celebration, the Tema Regional Officer of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union, ICU, Eleazer Nyaunu said although Trade Unions have held the fort in ensuring that workers are not affected, it might not be able to save the situation by September.
