PPP holds its Regional Delegates Conference to elect Regional Executives for the N/R


The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) is holding its Regional Delegates Conference to elect Regional Executives for the Northern Region. One thousand and thirty three delegates from 31 constituencies are expected to vote for twenty five contestants vying for various positions. 

Positions being contested for include, Regional Chairman, First and Second Vice Chairman, Regional Organiser and Regional Secretary’s position. 

There atmosphere is very calm, however, the police are there in their numbers to forestall any unforeseen security problem.
