Professor Anku expresses reservations about Ghana IMF bailout 

The President of Ghana Mathematics Society, Professor Sitsofe Anku, has expressed reservations about Ghana going to the International Monetary Fund for a bailout.

He said Ghana has qualified professionals to handle the economy.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Prof Anku said history has shown that going to the Bretton Wood Institutions will not bring the country out of its economic woes as they only offer short term solutions which always take the country back to the same situation.
